Three Precious Miracles was recently featured in an Ahwatukee Foothills News article for its Car Detailing Bootcamp in July.
To support Native youth and those aging-out of the foster system and create a path forward, TPM partnered with Bernice Berry from Pure Luxury Tint & Detailing Studio to host a week-long training course. Students learned window tinting, business skills, and received a certificate of completion.
“We incorporated work-readiness skills,” explained Elisia Manuel, President of Three Precious Miracles. “They had a full day of learning about how to present themselves. They had work readiness, skills training. And then yesterday, they had a one-hour, one-on-one training with another business owner who talked about the ins and outs are of starting their own business.
And so not only did they receive hands-on training, they received educational training of writing a resume, what it takes to open your business, having communication skills, all those good things.”
The bootcamp was supported by funds from International Detailing Association and Molina Health.
